My dad became an entrepreneur to raise me. He started his company when I was born and I’ve gotten to watch him through his struggles and successes. I’ve had a love for maps my entire life, from sitting at my grandpartents kitchen table recreating a to-scale map of Middle Earth from the Tolkin books, to receiving my Masters of Science in Geography in 2017. I saw the value in mapped data when I got my first independent mapping job while I was still in school. My map was successfully used to apply for grant funding to restore an overgrown network of trails near my childhood home.
Before I finished school I had already begun selling my services as a map maker. I worked full time doing mapping work while I gathered my resources to start this business. I received my certification for commercial drone flights in 2017 and have been providing on demand maps, media, and 3D models ever since.
